The Archbishop of York Youth Trust promotes leadership and initiative among young Christians committed to working with others for the common good. It supports young people working together to make a difference locally and in the wider world.

The Archbishop of York and the Trustees are seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced entrepreneur to be the first Director of this new Trust. A strong track record both in Christian youth ministry and in charity sector fundraising and development will equip you to raise the capacity of the Trust to deliver transformative youth ministry across a broad range of contexts.

As a person of vision and prayer you will identify strongly with our commitment to empowering young people of faith to become agents of change. Working together with the Trustees, the Archbishop, and his staff, you will be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. An excellent communicator, you will be proficient and proactive in the use of digital online media.

You will relate to staff at Bishopthorpe as well as to Youth Workers and Youth Officers throughout the North of England, working with a range of churches.
