A grants scheme of between £3,000 & £20,000 available to communities within 10km of an aggregates extraction site (working or closed). It should cover a good part of the diocese.
The grants are designed to help communities projects in areas affected by quarrying.
COMMA supports projects which can demonstrate public benefit in communities affected by aggregates extraction. The fund is advertised via the ACRE website and through the RCAN members in those counties covered by the fund. Applications may be made by local community groups, charities or town/parish councils.
Closing date May 14th.
