Youth and Children’s Ministry Team Leader

We are a large, growing, evangelical church, located between Oxford and Aylesbury, with a thriving Youth and Children’s ministry which involves approx. 180 children and young people in an average week (see www.lcbc.org.uk).

We are seeking a proven team player with the necessary vision, passion, spiritual maturity and communication skills to:

* lead and develop the youth and children’s ministry at the church
* lead, co-ordinate, train and develop our team of 40+ volunteers
* integrate the youth and children’s work into the life of the church
* build links into the community

Youth Missioner

Eighteen months ago a pioneering youth work started in Shepshed, Leicestershire. Youth & Children’s Director

Newbury Baptist Church, West Berkshire is looking to appoint an experienced, gifted and enthusiastic person to head up and work with our existing teams to develop our exciting and dynamic work among children and young people.

Your key roles will be to:

* oversee and develop the strategy and programme for our existing work
* implement new opportunities
* intoduce an interns programme to develop and mentor new leaders
* provide pastoral support and develop training for volunteers
* manage the budget for this area
* be a key link with other local churches and organisations
* be part of an ongoing personal development programme
* serve as part of the church leadership team

Harborough Evangelical Church is a growing and active church seeking to be 'Christ in the community'. We hope to appoint another full-time worker to work alongside the church leader and elders.

The 'right person' will bring their experience and skills gained from church ministry to help teach, train, disciple and encourage the church body.
