Conference Assistant Manager – Elim Conference Centre
20-28 hrs per week
Up to £14,560 pa depending on hours worked
Elim Conference Centre opened eighteen months ago as part of the new Elim International Centre situated on the beautiful Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. It is fast developing a reputation as an outstanding facility for conferences, events weddings and short breaks, based on its commitment to excellence of facilities and service.
We are now looking to appoint a new Conference Assistant Manager to add to the conferencing team to assist the further development of the business. The role will involve leading the Conference Centre in the absence of the manager, and getting involved in promoting excellence of service to all our guests. You will also take bookings and enquiries, liaise with other departments and assist with the marketing and business development of the conference centre.
You will be an individual with a natural passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and will be comfortable hosting and mixing with groups and individuals. You will be a well organised self starter who enjoys working in a team, but can step up into a leadership role when required. Previous experience in hotel or conference centre management would be an advantage but is not essential.

Please note that some unsocial hours working would be required including on average working one week-end in three.
