Bewdley Youth Cafe' Youth/Support Worker
P/T 16 hour. £6 Per hour + occasional travel costs


Bewdley Youth Cafe' require dedicated and highly motivated youth support worker to engage with young people aged between 8-18

The post require a flexible approach to shift work.
In your role as a Youth Worker, you will be part of a team that works directly with young people 8-18 yrs to help and support and to engage the young people in a wide range of activities and experiences that will stretch their knowledge, skills and attitudes as part of their personal, social and educational development. Your role will also involve in assisting the management in the day to day running of the youth cafe'. Applicants must have great communication skill and are also expected to have a proven background in youth work, however further training will be available.
The closing date for applications is 31st March 2010 – by 5pm.

First interviews to be held on w/c 12 April 2010

successful applicant will under go an enhanced CRB disclosure this is essential as this role will involve directly working with young people on a day to day basis
